I struggled a lot with turning up for my chemo treatments knowing I felt sort-of okay now but in six hours I’d shuffle out feeling terrible. I had to make a concerted effort to remind myself that the chemo wasn’t the enemy, the cancer was. Your body tries to protect you from doing things that will hurt it and it is against your inbuilt defences to put yourself in such a situation. But there is no better way to attack the cancer. And that is part of the mental struggle that people don’t always realise.

About the cards
The images on the cards are designed and made by me. They are 148x148mm (approximately 6”x6") if they are square, or A5 size if a rectangle. They come complete with an envelope directly from the UK company that prints them for me. The colours may look slightly different in real life, depending on your monitor/screen and eyesight.
Postage
A range of postage options, including budget and next-day options, are available at checkout. I try to keep the postage as low as possible, but I am at the mercy of Royal Mail.
