Staff Thank You

Whether it is staff at a hospital, hospice, or charity, I came into contact with so many dedicated and kind people during my cancer treatment. They work constantly in challenging and difficult circumstances to give every patient and relative the best support they can. I remain so grateful to the staff at The Christie in Manchester, St. Luke’s Hospice, and the Manchester Maggie’s centre. I asked a nurse once while I was undergoing chemo what I could do to express my gratitude. She said that something like a card, or a letter naming someone who had gone above and beyond, was worth its weight in gold. And much better than a box of chocolates or flowers that they couldn’t have out or share easily.
